Ball Tracking in Sports Video
Motlík, Matúš ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Bartl, Vojtěch (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with automatic detection and tracking of a soccer ball in sports videos. Based on the introduced techniques focusing on tracking of small objects in high-resolution videos, effective convolutional neural networks are designed and used by a modified version of tracking algorithm SORT for automatic object detection. A set of experiments with the processing of images in different resolutions and with various frequencies of detection extraction is carried out in order to examine the trade-off between processing speed and tracking accuracy. The obtained results of experiments are presented and used to form proposals for future work, which could lead to improvements in tracking accuracy while maintaining reasonable processing speed.
Design of a Football Association System for Administration Purposes

ResPublica/Civitas Socialis - Strachotín
Sysel, Tomáš ; Magnusek, Pavel (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The theme of the development of the existing sports grounds was dealt with Based on a number of analyzes, visits to the site and communication with the community management, the theme of the development of the existing sports grounds was dealt with. The whole territory is up to a football field in a very maintained conditions. There are two smaller accommodation facilities, which are seasonally used mainly by schools in nature and other students, but their condition is quite unsatisfactory. The soccer field, which is the only one maintained, belongs to the existing base of soccer players - the dressing room with the clubhouse. Their condition is also somewhat aggravated. In the current spatial plan, the whole proposed area is at the interface of two areas, the first is the area of sport and individual recreation and the second is the area to be examined. Urban design is based on the location of the existing soccer field and the preservation or improvement of existing links to the surrounding area. Most of the paved areas will be overtaken. Part of the design of the development of sports activities in the village was also to find a possible solution for parking for tourists, for which there is no free space in the village. The chosen location is advantageous in that, when a parking lot will be created, it will be created near the main entrance to the village on road II. Cl. No. 420 from Hustopeče through the village. Architectonically, but also conceptually, the construction is based on the economic possibilities of the municipality, the possibilities of variability of the solution and especially of the possibilities of staging construction. The result are two buildings. One main, replacing the background of spccer players, creates the conditions for year-round training in the new gym, for going to fitness, while part of the building is a platform for the soccer field. The second building is an accommodation that replaces the existing unsatisfactory buildings. Architecturally, they are masses that are greatly affected by the modules. The building structure and the facilities of the sports hall are structurally designed from standardized modular systems, steel containers that are interconnected to create an unusual spectacle. The area of the gym is defined by a reinforced concrete skeleton. Both buildings are covered with gold anodized sheet metal, which is profiled similarly to the peripheral walls of the containers. At the same time, the object was to create year-round sports grounds that are accessible to the general public and youth.
Football Event Recognition for Spatiotemporal Data of Gaming Objects
Čížek, Tomáš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with automatic soccer event detection . Its goal is to introduce reader to this issue , discuss possible ways of solution of this task and then implement event detection . This work aims at event recognition using spatio - temporal data of gaming objects . Introduced way of dealing with event detection lies in its converting to sequence labeling task . Then such task is solved using LSTM recurrent neural networks . Lastly , result of sequence labeling is interpreted as detected events . Library for event detection has been created as the output of this work . This library allow user to experiment with different variants how to formulate event detection as sequence labeling task .

Comparison of the media image of Martin Fenin in the Czech Republic and Germany
Schuster, Michael ; Lukšů, David (advisor) ; Macková, Veronika (referee)
This bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The first part is the practical part, which deals with a comparison of the media image of football player Martin Fenin in the Czech Republic and Germany, the two countries where he spent the main parts of his career. The comparison is based on the print media and compares the Czech and German view between the tabloid newspapers Blesk and Bild, as well as between the quality media Mlada fronta Dnes and the German Die Welt. The practical part of the work is supplemented by interviews with experts from the Czech and German media scene. As a very talented player, Martin Fenin had the promise to become one of the best football players Czech football has ever had. Due to injuries, but also due to many scandals and activities incompatible with a career of a professional athlete, his steeply rising career gradually started to take a downward trend and his talent remained unfulfilled. Due to the ongoing scandals, he is perceived by part of the public as a tabloid celebrity rather than as a top athlete. The second part is the theoretical part, which is the basis for the practical part and understanding it is central to the practical part.
Assessment of the postural stability level by female soccer players using Y- balance test
Dvorská, Veronika ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Assessment of the postural stability level by female soccer players using Y- balance test Objectives: The aims of this thesis are to acquaint readers with the Y-balance test method and to map the level of dynamic postural stability by women soccer players with the help of the method called Y-balance test and to compare the gained data with a group of non- athletic female probands. Amongst other aims is to identify the risks of injuring lower body limbs of the studied individuals based on the results obtained from the Y-balance test Methods: There were 20 probands in total attending the test. Half of them were female soccer players aged 18-30 years (21,8 on average) who practice 3 times a week plus play a competitive game once a week. The second half consisted of non-athletic female probands, also in age group of 18-30 (24,4 on average), who do not actively engage in any sports. Y-balance test was used to evaluate the postural stability of the subjects. Before the testing, the length of lower limbs was measured by the probands using a measuring tape, followed by trial attempts, after which the probands realized 3 measured attempts in each direction. The results were recorded on a special sheet. All the gained data were processed by Microsoft Office 2019, analysis was conducted using...
